Nashville Company Offsites: Flights, Venues and Seasons

Which offices can fly nonstop to Nashville (BNA) for a company offsite, plus the city's convention centers, group activities and months to pick.

Company Offsite Planning for Distributed Teams October 27, 2026 · 5 min read · Updated October 27, 2026

Nashville International (BNA) has a nonstop to 65 of the other 72 US airports Midway keeps full route files for, the busiest in the country. The seven without one are Honolulu, Maui, Anchorage, Oakland, Orange County, Spokane and Tucson. So a team whose offices use the large airports east of the Rockies, or Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles, can usually fly everyone in on a nonstop. Denver is the one large US airport with a nonstop to all 72, as the Denver offsite comparison shows.

Each count comes from Midway’s route data as of 26 October 2026, for flights from October 2026 to September 2027. A route counts if it runs in at least one month, in either airport’s list. Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands are left out, and West Palm Beach, listed in the data as DJT, counts as one of the 72.

Neighborhoods, hot chicken and the ride from the airport are in the Nashville city profile, and flight times from 20 US metro areas are in the Nashville, Austin and Scottsdale flight comparison. This page covers what an offsite adds on top: which offices fly in, where the team meets, and which months to pick.

US offices with a nonstop to Nashville

BNA’s own list holds around 110 US airports, and around 130 destinations once the international routes are added. Southwest flies around 80 of the US routes and is the only airline on around 50 of them. On the West Coast, San Diego, San Jose, Sacramento, Burbank and Ontario have Southwest and no other airline. Seattle has Alaska, Delta and Southwest, and Los Angeles has American, Delta and Southwest.

Around 30 of the US routes have two or more airlines, among them JFK, LaGuardia, Boston, Washington National, Atlanta and Chicago O’Hare. Newark, Washington Dulles and Houston Intercontinental have United only. A second airline gives an office a second schedule to book against. The route data lists the airlines on a route but not fares, so it cannot say how much that changes the price.

Some of the 65 are seasonal. Portland (Oregon) flies to Nashville in October and from April to September, Boise in June and July only, and Palm Springs in April only. A winter offsite turns a Portland office into a connecting one, which the budget breakdown by flight access works through line by line.

Allegiant flies around 20 of the US routes and is the only airline on around 15, mostly smaller airports such as Allentown, Syracuse, Flint and Provo. Half of its Nashville routes skip February or March.

Offices outside the US

BNA has a nonstop to London Heathrow on British Airways and to Dublin on Aer Lingus in every month of the data. Icelandair flies to Reykjavik in every month except February 2027. The flight from London to Nashville takes around 9h10 and from Dublin around 9h00, so a European office probably needs an arrival night before the first session.

Canadian offices have Toronto Pearson (Air Canada and WestJet), Toronto Billy Bishop (Porter) and Montreal (Air Canada) all year, and Calgary on WestJet in October and November and from April to September. Vancouver has no Nashville nonstop. Travelers from those Canadian airports clear US immigration before boarding, as the Toronto city profile explains. Mexico has Guadalajara on Volaris and Cancún on American, Delta and Southwest.

Months and seasons

From October 2026 to April 2027, Nashville’s US list runs from around 90 airports in February to around 105 in April, and around 90 are listed in every one of those months. The window stops at April because Frontier, Sun Country and Avelo schedules end there in the data, Allegiant’s after May and Southwest’s after August. The thinner months later in 2027 are most likely schedules not yet loaded, so check the month in Midway again before booking an offsite after April.

The weather narrows the choice further. NOAA’s 1991–2020 climate normals for the Nashville airport give an average high of around 73°F in April and 74°F in October, against 90°F to 91°F in July and August and 49°F in January. CMA Fest, the country music festival, runs from June 10 to 13, 2027 downtown, with night concerts at Nissan Stadium. So April and October are probably the easiest months for a team that wants to walk between venues, and a June offsite should avoid the festival week.

Venues for the working sessions

Visit Music City, the city’s convention and visitors corporation, lists two convention centers. The Music City Center is downtown in SoBro, and Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center is a resort setting in the Opryland and Music Valley area. The Music City Center has 61 meeting rooms and 3 board rooms, at 201 Rep. John Lewis Way South.

Gaylord Opryland is adding about 108,000 square feet of meeting space, including a ballroom of about 31,000 square feet, with completion expected by spring 2027, according to Ryman Hospitality Properties’ January 2025 announcement. For a spring 2027 offsite, ask whether the new space is open on your dates.

For a team of a few dozen, a convention center is probably more room than needed. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum rents event spaces to companies, downtown at 222 Rep. John Lewis Way South. Its boardroom seats up to 120 theater-style or 63 classroom-style, and its Event Hall up to 900 theater-style. It offers in-house catering, audiovisual services and after-hours museum tours. None of these venue pages lists a rental price, so the venue row in your budget is a quote.

Team activities

The Ryman Auditorium and the Grand Ole Opry both sell group tickets to parties of 15 or more, for a show or a backstage tour, and both host private events. Visit Music City counts more than 250 live music venues across the city, and its meetings team helps planners with off-site events and with volunteering opportunities (donating time, funds or supplies).

Hotel rates for your dates come from quotes. As a ceiling, the GSA per diem rates for Nashville (Davidson County) in fiscal year 2027 are $230 a night for lodging in every month and $86 a day for meals and incidental expenses. Those are federal reimbursement limits, not hotel quotes.

Comparing Nashville with other cities

The offsite destination comparison template has Nashville in a filled-in example next to Denver, Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin and Toronto, for four offices including Vancouver. The cluster page has the full method, from team roster to shortlist.

Open Midway with your offices’ airports to see whether Nashville is on the shared list in the month you plan to travel. It takes up to six departure airports and shows routes and flight times, not venue availability.
